Always on your side
Earlier this year our world changed considerably – lockdown, school closures and the worry for health and safety of loved ones and others have all had a massive impact on everyone’s lives albeit likely in different ways.
We know a world wide pandemic does not mean that the family law issues people were facing have suddenly disappeared, and indeed for many people it has added new pressures and difficulties. As we slowly ease out of the lockdown into the “new normal”, it remains a period of great uncertainty.
Many people who were considering divorce or separation are concerned as to whether it is right or appropriate to commence that process now or indeed continue, if they were part way through that process, given the uncertain financial landscape many are facing.
In our experience the answer will be different for everyone – it will be an individual decision depending upon your own personal circumstances. What is right for one couple will not be right for another. What remains the same is the importance of taking proper and specialist legal advice at the earliest opportunity so that any decisions you make can be the best-informed decisions for you and your family. Whilst a return to the “old normal” is some way off technology has ensured that legal advice remains accessible and available.
Purcell solicitors continue to operate a full service providing our excellent client care – all meetings take place virtually by video conference or telephone and we remain always there for you. Our highly experienced specialist family law team ensure you get the best advice at the outset, and throughout, as to the options available to you and your family.
